Camel Coat
Obviously you can’t travel in the winter without bringing your winter coat. You may even be going somewhere that is cold enough for your heaviest coat, but pack that and opt to wear your more stylish, lightweight option on the plane. That’s my suggestion, anyway. I always wear a long, double-breasted, classic topcoat when I travel during colder months not only because it’s comfortable to sit in, but also for the times I land and immediately have meetings to go to. As I’ve been saying lately, the right topcoat makes the outfit!

Superstar Sneakers
Wearing the right kind of shoes for winter travel is crucial. While you may be tempted to wear your bulkiest winter boots on the plane, the clunkiness may end up being not ideal for a day of travel. Instead, opt for a pair of comfortable and cute white sneakers. Not only are they easy to wear throughout security lines and the walk to and from your gate, but they’re extremely versatile which means they’ll match just about any outfit you choose to travel in!

Cashmere Scarf
During the winter, I never travel without wearing my favorite scarf. On the plane, it adds another layer of needed warmth, and it’s easier to wear it than pack it in most situations. Plus, it’s an effortless layer of chic to add to your airport look! There’s just something about wearing a scarf that ties a look together and gives off an air of “I know what I’m doing. I’m a seasoned traveler,” and who doesn’t want to exude that kind of confidence?!
